Palm Sunday

"Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;
his love endures forever.
Let Israel say:“His love endures forever.”

What a relaxing, recuperating day this has been! After a good night's sleep and lots of hydration after yesterday's sunburn, we traipsed out to the "chapel" area, a grassy area back on our property in which the Holsinger-Yoder family have built benches and erected a cross, complete with royal purple fabric for the Lenten season. We shared a lovely Palm Sunday service amongst some of us CRC staff, singing, taking Communion, reading scripture, and parading in with our "palm" branches--ferns and bamboo branches since the two palm trees that were just planted this morning are still too small to excuse taking branches from already.


Hosanna in the highest! Peace be with you all in this Lenten season as Holy Week begins.
